Video Sculptures. 4′ x 5′ x 3′ and 2′ x 5′ x 3′. Fabricated from resin and Plexiglass, the tables hold light and video images that are projected up into the surface creating a kind of cerebral reflection pool or a breeding pond. A large plasma screen rests below one sculpture, and a nest of three small televisions sit beneath another. Located in the library lobby, the video sculptures act as an entryway meditation. The sculptures express something about the evolution from books to screens and the way we receive information.
